Duolingo is adding a few more frames to its creative vocabulary. The language-learning company has acquired Animade, the London animation and motion design studio whose playful pixels have previously appeared in projects for Figma, Airbnb, Netflix, Google, Dropbox, and Meta. The deal brings Animade’s 15-person team into Duolingo’s Design Studio, expanding the company’s in-house animation and motion-design capabilities.
