Google I/O 2025 will take place on May 20–21 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California. This year's conference emphasizes advancements in AI, with significant updates to the Gemini ecosystem, including the introduction of Gemini 2.5 Flash and new subscription tiers like Gemini Pro and Ultra. NotebookLM is set to become a standalone app, enhancing research capabilities. Android 16 will feature improved privacy controls, predictive navigation, and better support for foldables.

 

Additionally, Google will unveil Android XR, an extended reality platform powering devices like Samsung’s Project Moohan headset and AI-driven smart glasses. The event will be livestreamed and is free for all attendees. Find out more about this event here.
