Following Rotterdam's history as a city of creative reinvention and founded by Sarah Schulten and Liv Vaisberg, the inaugural Design Biennale Rotterdam is a ten-day event showcasing various exhibitions from February 20 to March 2, 2025. This year, it features over 100 designers across 5 main venues and 10 partner venues all around the city under the theme 'What's Real is Unfamiliar'.
A two-day Early Extended Programme on February 19 and 20 offers symposiums, masterclasses, and curator-led tours for design professionals and enthusiasts.
The Biennale will be closed on February 24 and 25, 2025, Monday and Tuesday.
