Tennis legends Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal have traded their familiar courts for the towering peaks of Italy’s Dolomite Mountains. This unexpected reunion is part of a campaign for luxury fashion house Louis Vuitton.

The Grand Slam champions, renowned for their combined 195 singles titles, embarked on an ambitious journey, captured by iconic photographer Annie Leibovitz. The campaign, named ‘Core Values’, depicts the athletes not as rivals, but companions on a shared adventure.

Federer, known for his record-setting 20 Grand Slam titles, and Nadal, celebrated for his 22 Grand Slams and 14 French Open victories, are seen carrying the classic Monogram Christopher and Eclipse backpacks. The campaign serves as a metaphor for their illustrious careers, highlighting their discipline, commitment to excellence, and mutual respect.

This campaign marks the revival of Louis Vuitton’s Core Values series, which was originally launched in 2007. The series aims to emotionally connect with the brand’s admirers by featuring luminaries across industries.

As the campaign’s tagline suggests, "There are Journeys that turn into Legends," Federer and Nadal’s combined 42 Grand Slam titles and peak athleticism certainly qualify them as legends. Their journey from youthful prodigies to international champions is now symbolically represented by their shared ascent of the Dolomites.

This campaign not only showcases the determination and commitment of these tennis stars but also their humility and elegance. What heights will Federer and Nadal scale next? We invite you to share your thoughts on this riveting reunion.
