F1 film ignites engines with high-octane first teaser trailer starring Brad Pitt

The highly anticipated F1 film, starring Brad Pitt, has finally revved its engine and released its first teaser trailer. Directed by Joseph Kosinski, the man behind the adrenaline-fueled success of Top Gun: Maverick, the trailer for the Apple Original promises a thrilling ride into the world of Formula One racing.

 

Clocking in at a minute and a half, the teaser is a sensory overload in the best possible way.  Quick cuts of sleek F1 cars screaming around a track are intercut with close-ups of mechanics working feverishly in the pit lane. The tension builds as the roar of the engines fills the soundscape.

 

We hear a voice, presumably Pitt’s character, acknowledge the competition: "Red Bull, Ferrari, Mercedes, Aston… now McLaren, all have us beat on the straights.” This sets the stage for the film's central conflict—a team struggling to find an edge and overcome a powerful field of rivals.

 

A sharp retort follows: “How am I supposed to make that safe?” asks another character, likely the team's engineer, voiced by Kerry Condon. Pitt’s character delivers the film's tagline with a steely resolve: “Who said anything about safe?” The teaser ends with the film’s title card and a release date in June 2025.

 

While the trailer offers little in terms of plot details, it effectively captures the exhilarating essence of F1 racing. The focus on technical precision, team dynamics, and the constant push for victory is sure to resonate with racing fans.
