This incident takes place just a day after many users were complaining of connectivity issues on Monday. Many of them have thus taken to Downdetector to report the outage which appeared to have started around 3:03AM Eastern Time. Others took to social media to vent their frustration on the repeat occurrence. Wattpad is home to a popular community of readers and writers who connect through the power of story, making it one of the world’s most-loved social storytelling platform. As of July 2024, Wattpad reported having 94 million users. It has become a creative hub where aspiring authors gain visibility, and established writers engage with their audience.
