According to data showing on the outage tracking service, the volume of user reports started surging since around 7:53PM Eastern Time. User comments include "invites do not work" and "joining friends' party is glitchy." Many gamers have also taken to social media to indicate connectivity issues. According to Ubisoft's official Rainbow Six Siege status page, global status across all platforms are showing "no issues" at the moment so it's likely that the issue is impacting some users only.
