Based on data showing on the outage tracking service, the volume of user reports started surging since around 5:16PM Eastern Time. One user commented "my direct deposit hasn't came through" with several others acknowledging they're facing the same issue too. Cash App, initially named Square Cash, is a peer-to-peer (P2P) payment app. It allows individuals to quickly send, receive, and invest money.
