Instagram is reportedly behaving unusually for many users on July 18.

 

According to outage tracking service DownDetector, the volume of user complaints started climbing above regular levels since 7:29PM Eastern Time. Comments include "problems with DMs" and "can't like my messages in DMs."

 

On X (formerly Twitter),  a number of users are indicating seeing NSFW adult content from 2020 showing up in their feeds.
