Gucci enlists Jin of BTS as its new global ambassador

Gucci, the renowned Italian luxury brand, has appointed Jin (Kim Seok-jin), the eldest member of the globally acclaimed K-pop group BTS, as its latest global brand ambassador.

 

Sabato De Sarno, Gucci’s creative director, praised Jin’s warm and kind personality, stating that it is "truly magnetic." Jin’s style, according to De Sarno, is simply unique. This combination of personality and fashion sense makes Jin an ideal representative for the iconic brand.

 

 

The K-pop sensation is no stranger to the spotlight, having been an Olympic torchbearer for South Korea at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Moreover, Jin was discharged from his country’s mandatory military service in June, making him the first member of BTS to complete this requirement.

 

 

Since their debut in 2013, BTS has won several “Top Social Artist” awards at the Billboard Music Awards and made history as the first Korean artists to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 2018 with their single "Dynamite".

 

As Jin continues to make waves in the music and fashion worlds, fans and industry insiders alike eagerly anticipate his future endeavors with Gucci.
