Cookies and milk are no longer the most iconic duo. Oreo and Coca-Cola are “dunking” into new territory with the announcement of their new friendship—they’re “besties,” even!

 

As a result of their newfound chemistry, the two brands have come up with the Oreo Coca-Cola Sandwich Cookie and Coca-Cola Oreo Zero Sugar Limited Edition, inspired by the way best friends bring out the best in each other.

 

 

 

Oreo steps away from its wafers to shine the spotlight on its BFF. The Oreo Coca-Cola Sandwich Cookie features two chocolate basecakes embossed with Coke’s branding, while the creme filling is dotted with red edible glitter. For that extra pizzazz, the cookies are studded with popping candy.

 

On the beverage front, the Coca-Cola Oreo Zero Sugar Limited Edition offers a twist on the classic cola. This drink, featuring black and white packaging, combines the refreshing taste of Coca-Cola with flavor notes inspired by Oreo cookies.

 

 

 

To show their friendship is in harmony, Oreo and Coca-Cola have partnered with Spotify to create a ‘Bestie Mode’ experience. By scanning a QR code on participating products, fans can sync up their music preferences with a friend. This feature generates a shared playlist, allowing besties to discover how their musical tastes align.

And for those who want to wear their snack preferences on their sleeve, a themed Forever21 line is set to launch in the United States. The collection will include apparel, accessories, and stationery, all priced under $20. Fans can look forward to this release in mid-September at select Forever21 stores and online.

 

The Oreo Coca-Cola Sandwich Cookie and Coca-Cola Oreo Zero Sugar Limited Edition will hit shelves in September across various markets, including the US, Canada, China, Mexico, and Brazil. Fast-food enthusiasts won't be left out either—a frozen version of the Coca-Cola Oreo Limited Edition will be available at participating McDonald’s and 7-Eleven locations in select markets.
