Is Minecraft down again? [August 15, 2024]

Minecraft is reportedly down (again) for hundreds of players on August 15, according to DownDetector.

 

Based on the graph showing on the outage tracking service, the volume of user reports started surging since around 4:35PM Eastern Time.

 

Some gamers have also taken to social media to vent frustration of the repeated downtime incidents over the past two days.

 

Minecraft developer Mojang has acknowledged the service issues with Realms and has provided the following updates over the past few hours via its official X account.

 

Its latest post claimed that "Realms service is back up and running globally" but many players insist that they are still encountering errors.
