Despite Minecraft developer Mojang's latest X post (as of time of this post) indicating "the Realms service is back up and running globally", many users swiftly rebutted that the errors persisted for them—as seen in the context added by readers below the original tweet.

 

Fresh posts of Minecraft players ranting of their inability to access Realms continue to stream onto social media throughout the day.

[UPDATE - August 17] On DownDetector, many users continue to indicate connectivity issues with Realms after several days of outage. 

 

The latest post on Mojang's official X account, shared at 1:36AM Eastern Time, reported that "the Realms team is still hard at work to restore the service globally".

 

However, many hours later, complaints of downtime continue to pop up on social media.
