Status Is Down Posted August 19 Posted August 19 Facebook is reportedly down for hundreds of users on August 19, according to DownDetector.  Based on the graph showing on the outage tracking service, the volume of user reports surged around 6:59AM Eastern Time.  Some users have also turned to another social media platform, X, to indicate connectivity issues.    Are you also facing difficulties connecting to Facebook today?
