Based on the graph showing on the outage tracking service, the volume of user reports surged around 10:56AM Eastern Time. Some users have also turned to social media to indicate connectivity issues. However, at the time of this post, Wattpad's official status page is showing "all systems operational" so it's likely that only some users are experiencing an outage. Wattpad is home to a popular community of readers and writers who connect through the power of story, making it one of the world’s most-loved social storytelling platform. As of July 2024, Wattpad reported having 94 million users. It has become a creative hub where aspiring authors gain visibility, and established writers engage with their audience.
