Based on the graph showing on the outage tracking service, the volume of user reports surged around 9:56PM Eastern Time. Many gamers have also turned to social media to indicate connectivity issues. Final Fantasy's official status page is showing "congested" statuses for multiple 'worlds' at the moment, and creation of new characters on them is not possible during this time. Also, Square Enix is said to be shutting four servers for Final Fantasy 14 come August 27, as reported by GameRant. Are you also facing difficulties connecting to Final Fantasy today?
