Starbucks-Sanrio-Hello-Kitty-50th-Anniversary-1.jpg

Starbucks and Sanrio are brewing something very special for Hello Kitty’s 50th birthday. Beginning September 10, fans can indulge in adorable delights—consisting of drinkware, accessories, and treats—that bring together friendship, playfulness, and of course, coffee.

Coming to 13 markets in the Asia Pacific region, the limited-edition collection is a true celebration of Hello Kitty’s charm.

Starbucks’ Bearistas have taken a little coffee break as Hello Kitty takes over the classic green apron. You’ll see this version of her in a cute array of merchandise consisting of seven different styles of drinkware, including ceramic mugs, water bottles, and stainless-steel tumblers. Kitty White (yes, that’s her real name) is accompanied by her trusty sidekick, Tiny Chum.

The collection extends beyond sipping vessels, offering lifestyle accessories like an apron, phone charm, and lanyard—perfect for adding a touch of charm to everyday life.

Alongside these keepsakes, fans can also enjoy two Hello Kitty-inspired beverages that will likely have phones buzzing with photos as each drink is topped with the cultural icon’s signature bow.

The Apple Pie Cream Frappuccino Blended Beverage pays homage to Hello Kitty’s favorite treat—Mama's Apple Pie. This velvety concoction captures the essence of a freshly baked apple pie, layered with creamy milk and frappuccino syrup.

For those seeking a cooler option, the Red Apple Frozen Tea is a vibrant tribute to Hello Kitty’s red bow. This icy delight combines the refreshing notes of Teavana Zen Clouds Oolong Tea with a sweet apple sauce, creating a sensory experience that's both playful and refreshing.

For collectors, there's an extra treat in store. Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan will see the release of four blind box collectibles—a first for Starbucks in the Asia Pacific region. These cute cup clips featuring Hello Kitty and Tiny Chum add an element of surprise and delight to every purchase.
