Status Is Down Posted September 5 Posted September 5 Google Maps is reportedly down for hundreds of users on September 5, according to DownDetector. Based on the graph showing on the outage tracking service, the volume of user reports started surging around 6:31AM Eastern Time. Many users have also turned to social media to indicate connectivity issues, with a number of them sharing screens of the popular navigation app refusing to load—even on multiple tries.
