Marshy
Get ready to spice up your kitchen! The Lenox Spice Village, a beloved collection that once seasoned homes across America, is making a flavorful comeback after a 35-year absence. First introduced in 1989, these charming house-shaped spice jars quickly became a hot commodity among collectors. Their quaint design captured the hearts of many, turning ordinary spice racks into miniature neighborhoods brimming with character. Now, riding the wave of nostalgia and the surging popularity of Cottagecore aesthetics, Lenox has decided to dust off the blueprints and rebuild this tiny spice town. The decision was largely influenced by the renewed interest in vintage decor, fueled by social media trends like #Thrifttok, where these little houses have become coveted finds. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Lenox (@lenox) Lenox is staying true to the original design, with only minor tweaks to ensure each piece maintains its unique appeal. To distinguish the new generation from their vintage counterparts, a second-edition back stamp will be added. The best part is the company is pricing these new pieces at the exact rates from 1989—$15 for individual houses and $285 for the complete 24-piece set. Jennifer DiBenedetti, Lenox’s vice president of marketing, encourages homebodies to think creatively when displaying their Spice Village. Besides stashing your cinnamon and paprika, you could, of course, decorate any part of your space with these teeny works of art, adorning them with lights and plants. DiBenedetti explains that the look of these houses have deliberately been kept the same so everyone can “experience the magic” of the Spice Village generations have come to know and love. https://www.hgtv.com/shopping/news-and-trends/how-to-buy-lenox-spice-village https://www.foodnetwork.com/how-to/packages/shopping/how-to-buy-lenox-spice-village https://www.apartmenttherapy.com/lenox-spice-village-second-edition-37416897 Image: Lenox
