Coloroscopio
LEGO Korea is proving that even flowers can pack a punch—at least in robot form. The toymaker has amusingly reimagined some of its existing sets as epic robots not unlike those from Transformers and the Gundam franchises. In a recent Instagram post, plastic petals become mechanical marvels. For one, the Bouquet of Roses and Flower Bouquet sets now stand tall as formidable floral fighters. The Flower Bouquet character has a peach-hued rose head and shoulders, an orange poppy core, and arms fashioned from brick-built snapdragons. Floral arrangements have never looked so dramatic. “Bionicles? Nah, we got botanicals,” quips a fan. The giraffe from the Wild Safari Animals kit has evolved from a gentle giant to a long-necked warrior, ready to defend the savanna with its newfound might. The Burger Truck and A-Frame Cabin sets have been reimagined as quirky characters, giving new meaning to mobile living and work. And not only has the LEGO Retro Camera been transformed into a robot, but it's also been given a faithful companion. The project shows that with a little imagination, seemingly simple pieces can be transformed into anything you can dream of. Swipe through the post below to view more creations.
