General Mills brings home the bacon with Cinnamon Toast Crunch, well, bacon

Hormel Foods and General Mills have teamed up to bring home the bacon, and this time, it’s wearing a sweet disguise, creating Cinnamon Toast Crunch-flavored bacon. Yes, you read that right. This limited-edition creation marries the savory bite of Hormel’s Black Label Bacon with the sugary goodness of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, giving you the best of both breakfast worlds.

 

The bacon is thick-cut and generously dusted with Cinnadust, a special blend of cinnamon and sugar. When cooked, the Cinnadust caramelizes, creating a crispy, sweet, and salty sensation. 

 

Each strip of bacon is hand-rubbed with the Cinnadust seasoning and left to marinate overnight to ensure the flavors fully soak in before hitting the pan. The result? A perfect balance of caramelized sugar, warm cinnamon, and salty bacon in every bite.

 

This marks Hormel’s first foray into co-branded bacon. “Sweet and savory is such a classic combination, and blasting Black Label bacon with our Cinnadust seasoning blend is a no-brainer,” says Brandon Tyrrell, senior marketing manager for Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

 

Eager to try this breakfast innovation? The Black Label Cinnamon Toast Crunch Bacon will start appearing on shelves at select Walmart locations. And don’t worry if you miss the initial rollout—the product will be making its way to select Kroger stores and other retailers nationwide in the following weeks.
