Marshy
While McDonald’s Japan has cooked up animated commercials in the past, this time, it has taken a bite out of the AI revolution. The fast-food giant recently unveiled its first artificial intelligence-generated advertisement, a quirky and catchy spot that highlights its iconic French fries. Created in partnership with AI artist Kaku Drop and the Luma Labs tool, the video showcases AI-generated women posing with fries, set against the backdrop of a fast-paced, McDonald’s-themed cover of the classic musical piece Carmen. The 16-second clip, rolled out last month, aimed to entice viewers to take advantage of McDonald’s limited-time 250-yen offer on fries.
