Enter Stage Rite
Snoop Dogg is taking his music videos to new heights, quite literally, as he rides a horse-drawn carriage through the sky. This hip-hop fantasy is a glimpse into the future of music video production, where artificial intelligence seems to be calling the shots. The rap legend has teamed up with Dave East and WHOISTEVENYOUNG for Love You More, a track featured in Peacock’s original film Bosco. Compellingly, the music video is AI-generated by music video makers The Dor Brothers and a team of artists, with direction by Jaron Marquis. Snoop Dogg’s Love You More marks the debut single from the Bosco soundtrack, a film that tells the gripping story of Quawntay “Bosco” Adams, who famously pulled off an audacious escape from a high-security federal prison. The project employed a variety of AI tools, including Runway, Ideogram, Midjourney, Luma AI, Magnific AI, and Kling. Film and art director Yves Dalbiez, who contributed to two sequences in the video, shared his insights on the process online. He was particularly “blown away” by the speed at which AI can produce results compared to traditional 3D animation. What once took months or even years can now be accomplished in a matter of days or hours. However, Dalbiez noted that the technology isn’t without its challenges, particularly when it comes to controlling motion, which is “still quite unpredictable [at the moment].” Rather than being conjured up in no time, the video remained a rather intensive effort. According to the Dor Brothers, it took a team of eight artists working for two months to produce just 35 seconds of Snoop’s skybound carriage ride shown below. Dalbiez emphasized that skills like storyboarding, layout, framing, composition, and pacing remain crucial when working with AI tools. He also pointed out that the process is markedly different from traditional video production, requiring extensive use of photo editing software to refine the AI-generated images. “Get ready to use a lot of Photoshop,” he shared. The art director sees AI as a transformative force in the industry, though not a replacement for live-action shoots with talented actors. "It’s certainly going to have its own place in the world of content creation,” he concluded, likening the rise of AI to the advent of 3D in the early 2000s. https://www.linkedin.com/posts/the-dor-brothers_we-made-an-official-ai-music-video-for-the-ugcPost-7244656354064277504-Tb8k/ https://www.linkedin.com/posts/yvesdalbiez_ai-aianimation-musicvideo-ugcPost-7246358484852637696-aqas/ Image: SnoopDogg TV

Guest MaryTae
Yeah! Like for real... sounds like the 50 song 21 questions: 50-Cent Lyrics: [Verse 2: 50 Cent] If I fell off tomorrow, would you still love me? If I didn't smell so good, would you still hug me? If I got locked up and sentenced to a quarter century Could I count on you to be there to support me mentally? If I went back to a hooptie from a Benz Would you poof and disappear like some of my friends? If I was hit and I was hurt, would you be by my side? If it was time to put in work, would you be down to ride? I get out and peel a ni**a cap, chill and drive I'm askin' questions to find out how you feel inside If I ain't rap 'cause I flip burgers at Burger King Would you be ashamed to tell your friends you're feelin' me? In the bed, if I used my tongue, would you like that? If I wrote you a love letter, would you write back? Now, we could have a little drink, you know, a nightcap And we could go do what you like, I know you like that (Like that)
