'Harry Potter' baking competition show hosted by Weasley twins showcases pastry wizards & their magic

Warner Bros Discovery is casting a spell on the culinary world with its latest competition series, Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking, set to debut on November 14 on Food Network and streaming globally on Max. Combining the magic of the Harry Potter universe with the creativity of pastry chefs, this new show promises to whip up a blend of fantasy and flavor.

 

Hosted by James and Oliver Phelps—best known as the mischievous Fred and George Weasley—the six-episode series will see nine teams of pastry chefs and cake artists compete in challenges inspired by iconic moments from the Harry Potter films.

 

The competition’s setting is sure to transport viewers straight to Hogwarts. Filmed at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, where the original Harry Potter movies were shot, contestants will present their sugary spectacles in familiar locations such as Platform 9¾, The Great Hall, and Diagon Alley. 

 

 

Joining the judging panel are culinary experts Carla Hall and Jozef Youssef, along with special guests like Warwick Davis (who played Professor Filius Flitwick and a Gringotts bank teller), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood), and Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley).

 

The winning team will not only take home the coveted Wizards of Baking Cup but also have their creations featured in a Harry Potter-themed cookbook. So, grab your wands, dust off your aprons, and get ready for a sweet, magical adventure.
