Marshy
Spirit Halloween, the annual haunt for costume hunters, is unwrapping a new surprise this year. The seasonal retailer is set to deck its halls with boughs of holly, transforming select locations into Spirit Christmas stores. Trading jack-o’-lanterns for jingle bells after trick-or-treating season, Spirit Christmas will offer stock an array of holiday goods, including stocking stuffers, festive décor, holiday-themed apparel, and gifts. As part of the experience, some locations will feature holiday attractions like life-sized gingerbread villages and even meet-and-greets with Santa, complete with free digital photos. The takeover will capture the magic (and the shopping dollars) of the Christmas season while offering a familiar retail experience. Interestingly, this isn’t Spirit Halloween’s first foray into Christmas. The company tested holiday-themed stores under different names in the 1990s and mid-2000s. 10 Spirit Christmas locations will appear across the Northeast, with the first store opening its doors on October 18, 2024, in Mays Landing, New Jersey. The remaining nine locations will follow in early November, giving holiday shoppers plenty of time to get in the spirit. https://people.com/spirit-halloween-launches-spirit-christmas-stores-8724635 https://attractionsmagazine.com/spirit-christmas-locations-2024/ Images: Andreistanescu | Dreamstime.com and Spirit Halloween
