Dragon-Ball-Macys-Thanksgiving-Day-Parade-Goku-40th-Anniversary-1.jpeg

The Dragon Ball franchise is set to power up once again—this time soaring through the skies of New York City. In celebration of its 40th anniversary, the beloved series will make a bold appearance at the 98th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with a brand-new Goku balloon. Created by Toei Animation, the balloon shows the protagonist in his iconic orange gi with blue accents, staying true to his classic look.

This year’s Goku will appear in his original form, not as a Super Saiyan. The balloon captures the character in a heroic stance, saluting fans as he floats above the streets.

Goku’s larger-than-life balloon will make its appearance on November 28, 2024, during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, offering fans the chance to see their favorite hero take to the skies once more. This tribute comes as part of the franchise’s 40th-anniversary celebrations, honoring a series that has left a lasting mark on generations of anime fans.
