Marshy
KFC has taken its finger-lickin’ goodness to chilling new levels in Chile with a stunt so cool, it’s literally frozen. To herald the arrival of its southernmost store on the continent in Punta Arenas, the brand erected a 3-ton bucket sculpted entirely from ice in Patagonia’s landscape. This frosty feat, dubbed The Bucket from the End of the World, stands as the largest ice outdoor advertisement ever created in South America. KFC partnered with MullenLowe’s Mass Digital to bring this monumental vision to life, enlisting local artisans to hand-craft the sculpture using the finest ice from the region. Strategically placed in one of the most popular winter hotspots, the frosty sculpture ensured neither locals nor tourists missed the news of KFC’s arrival at the edge of the continent. The campaign connects the crunch of KFC’s fried chicken with the crisp, cold ice of the Patagonian mountains, reinforcing the brand’s playful identity in a uniquely local way.
