Garth Gator
 Microsoft has rolled out an updated version of its Xbox Wireless Headset, keeping the essentials intact while adding a few meaningful upgrades. For gamers who take their sound seriously, the refreshed model offers immersive Dolby Atmos audio without the need for additional purchases, along with improvements to battery life, connectivity, and communication features.  Most notable is the addition of Dolby Atmos support at no extra cost, complementing other spatial audio options like Windows Sonic and DTS Headphone. With this enhanced audio experience, every soundâfrom subtle footsteps to booming explosionsâfeels precise and enveloping, helping players better anticipate in-game actions.   The physical design gets an update too, with a sleek, all-black look. Comfort remains a priority, with an adjustable headband and cushioned earcups for extended play.  The headset also gets a battery boost, now providing up to 20 hours of playtime, ensuring fewer interruptions during marathon gaming sessions.  Communication has also been fine-tuned with a redesigned microphone featuring improved voice isolation and auto-mute. These upgrades filter out background noise, letting players stay focused on the conversation without distractions. The mic boom has been extended as well, ensuring clear collaboration even during high-pressure moments. On-ear controls make it easy to adjust game and chat audio balance on the fly, while the Xbox Accessories app provides further customization options for those looking to fine-tune their setup.  Bluetooth 5.3 is now onboard, allowing seamless connectivity across Xbox consoles, PCs, and mobile devices, so players can easily switch between platforms. Thanks to Qualcomm S5 Gen 2 technology, the headset offers low-latency wireless performance, reducing lag during fast-paced gameplay.   Priced at $109.99 USD, the new Xbox Wireless Headset replaces the original model and is available now.   Images: Xbox
