Chick-fil-A has hatched a plan to entertain families beyond the dinner table. The fast-food chain is serving up a new kind of meal—digital content for hungry minds.

The company has announced its unusual entry into the streaming landscape with Chick-fil-A Play, a free app launching November 18. The platform combines animated shows, podcasts, games, and interactive content aimed at creating shared family experiences across various devices.

At launch, the app will stream its flagship animated series, Legends of Evergreen Hills, while Rocky Road features the company’s familiar cow mascots in new adventures.

Elsewhere, content spans multiple formats, including video-based cooking demonstrations, craft tutorials, and interactive storytelling experiences designed for group participation.

The app’s audio content focuses on family car rides and daily routines, offering scripted podcasts suitable for school commutes and other travel times. Additional features include conversation starters, jokes, and games intended to spark family interaction.

Interactive elements extend to practical activities, with the app providing instructions for kitchen experiments and craft projects. The platform also includes e-books and digital stories accessible across multiple devices.

“Hospitality and fun have always been at the core of the Chick-fil-A family experience, whether inside our Restaurants and play areas, or through our Kids Meals,” says Dustin Britt, executive director of brand strategy. “The Chick-fil-A Play App is a digital extension of that experience and another way we’re reimagining ‘Play’ for our Guests, in a unique way through entertainment that really encourages time together.”
