Say his name three times, and you might just get lucky—with a booking, that is. Beetlejuice fans are getting a chance to haunt the halls of cinema’s most infamous haunted house, as Airbnb brings the Deetz residence to life in New Jersey.

Set in Hillsborough Township, New Jersey, the recreated house captures the eerie charm of the Tim Burton classic—minus the sandworms. While overnight stays are off-limits (for spiritual reasons, of course), guests can explore the surreal setting with activities, art sessions, and a night at a nearby Airbnb in Princeton to top it off.

The Beetlejuice experience, part of Airbnb’s Icons series, offers 10 three-hour bookings between November 16 and 27, 2024, with space for up to six guests per session. Visitors will step into a world of unsettling details, from the black-veiled exterior to the Maitlands’ model of Winter River and checkered floors. A glowing green hallway even leads to a “waiting room” for the recently deceased—if you dare to follow the light.

A guide, playing the role of Delia Deetz’s ever-faithful assistant, will welcome guests and offer a house tour that includes cryptic keyholes, crooked staircases, and hints of the afterlife. While Delia’s artwork may (or may not) inspire awe, there are warnings for visitors bold enough to utter his name. Strange things might happen—doors that shouldn’t open and maybe a peek into Dante’s Inferno, where Beetlejuice himself is rumored to linger.

To complete the experience, visitors will channel their fears in a group art class led by Delia’s aide. The lesson offers guests a chance to turn haunting vibes into creative expression before being escorted out for the evening. With lingering spirits in the air, staying overnight in the Deetz residence isn’t an option, but Airbnb ensures the experience continues with a complimentary one-night stay in nearby Princeton.

Travelers 18 and up who are interested in this otherworldly adventure can make their booking requests through November 4 here.
