Paramount will share 7 minutes of 'Smile 2' with you—but only if you dare to be its victim on webcam

Paramount Pictures wants you to say cheese—but not for your typical photo op. The studio has released a seven-minute sneak peek of its horror film, Smile 2. The catch? You have to keep smiling, literally.

 

Viewers wanting to see the clip are required to keep a continuous grin into their webcams to keep the footage rolling. If you stop smiling, the preview pauses, and the screen reminds you: “Keep Smiling.”

 

This interactive online experience taps into the eerie theme of Smile 2, where unsettling smiles are a key part of the film's storyline. The film, directed by Parker Finn, follows the story of Skye Riley, a global pop sensation played by Naomi Scott. Skye faces a chilling set of circumstances that threaten not just her career but her mental stability. The film also features a cast including Kyle Gallner, Rosemarie DeWitt, Lukas Gage, and Dylan Gelula, making for a star-studded return to the unnerving world introduced in the original Smile.
