Members Marshy Posted November 6 Members Posted November 6 Just in time for the festive rush, Subway has rolled out its first-ever holiday-themed footlong cookie. The Double Chocolate Peppermint Footlong Cookie, available through December 31, packs in all the seasonal flavors one could want.  It features a rich double chocolate dough laced with peppermint extract, topped with a mix of chocolate and white chips, and finished with a sprinkle of candy cane pieces for that extra holiday crunch.   Served warm and wrapped in festive packaging, the cookie joins the sandwich chainâs $5-and-under snack menu and follows the success of Subwayâs original footlong chocolate chip cookie, which launched earlier this year to sweet success.  According to Paul Fabre, Subwayâs senior vice president of culinary and innovation, the goal was to take a beloved cookie flavor and create a more indulgent, footlong version fit for the holiday season. After all, cookies and the holidays go hand in hand, and this peppermint twist is designed to bring a little extra warmth and joy with each bite.  âSince their debut earlier this year, millions of Footlong Cookies have delighted our fansânow we canât wait for them to experience how we've reimagined another classic cookie flavor into even more footlong indulgence,â says Fabre. âThe holiday season is synonymous with cookies, making it the perfect time to introduce this new warm, flavor-packed footlong cookie to our snack menu.â   This footlong treat, perfect as a stocking stuffer or for sharing in the spirit of the holidays, is now available at Subway locations across the US.      View this post on Instagram            A post shared by foodbeast (@foodbeast)   https://nypost.com/2024/11/01/lifestyle/subway-unveils-footlong-holiday-cookie-with-a-crazy-calorie-count/ https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/food/2024/10/25/subway-holiday-footlong-cookie-double-chocolate-peppermint/75837285007/   Images: Subway Quote
