Elon Musk's X opens online merch store, perhaps to purge all memory of the Twitter name

It seems X is ready to mark the spot... in the real world. Elon Musk’s social media platform has launched an online merchandise store over a year after its rebrand from Twitter—which, frankly, is what many still call the app.

 

 

For now, the store’s offerings are rather slim, featuring a black t-shirt and a black trucker hat, both stamped with the platform's iconic 'X' logo. The pieces bear a significant contrast from the blue optics of the former bird app.

 

 

 The simple apparel—each piece priced at $35 USD—is currently only available in the US, with plans for international shipping in the works. 

 

 

While the initial lineup may be limited, it’s just the beginning of what could be a much broader  rollout, all part of X's evolving journey under the ownership of Musk, whose Tesla brand is also noted for its merchandise.
