Adidas unveils 'Superfingers' & Superstar-inspired bags to champion the famed Originals

Adidas has decided to toe the (finish) line—multifold—teaming up with Milan fashion label Avavav for a unique collection that will make you rethink its three stripes. The duo's Spring 2025 line, unveiled at Milan Fashion Week, is aptly titled Forza e Coraggio, meaning “strength and courage.”

 

The unveiling took place at Milan's Forza e Coraggio sports arena, which seemed like the perfect venue to showcase this lively partnership. Designer Beate Karlsson, at the helm of Avavav, brought her brand’s characteristic eccentricity to the collection.

 

Familiar sporty items like oversized puffer jackets and cropped track tops have been given an Avavav twist—including the signature four-finger footwear, now embellished with Adidas's iconic three stripes.

One of the more whimsical highlights is the "Superfingers" accessory, designed to attach to the classic Adidas Superstar sneakers. Sporting Avavav’s signature four-finger shape, it's also modeled to resemble the distinctive shell toe of the Superstars, crafted from rubber.

Interestingly, Adidas says this accessory is detachable, making it versatile enough to pop onto sneakers or heels. The multitasking statement piece can even be used as a bag.

 

Another showstopper is a bag seemingly crafted from four Adidas Superstar sneakers, each complete with laces, giving off a distinctly playful, almost surrealist vibe.
