Members Enter Stage Rite Posted November 12 Members Posted November 12 Blue skies are turning ashen in the latest installment of Avatar, as hinted by James Cameron. During Disney's D23 Brazil event, the director unveiled striking new concept art for his upcoming film, Avatar: Fire and Ash. The images add more color (or shading) to evolving world of Pandora, presenting some darker terrain in the latest chapter. The new artwork, brought to life by artists Steve Messing, Dylan Cole, and Zachary Berger, introduces a new Na'vi tribe: the Ash People. Cameron described them as representing the darker side of the Na'vi, reflecting anger and rage—emotions that resonate with the challenges faced in today’s world. The Ash People have been scarred by volcanic eruptions and harbor deep resentment toward nature and the forest Na'vi, setting up what could be an intense cultural clash. Cameron also confirmed that Avatar: Fire and Ash has entered post-production and has a release date of December 19, 2025. He shared his excitement about diving into previously unexplored parts of Pandora, promising fans new environments and cultures, including a nomadic tribe that travels through the air. The director highlighted that the stakes are higher this time, with new challenges emerging from this "insane adventure." He also teased a new character who he believes audiences will either "love—or love to hate." With its grimmer themes, the film promises to show a side of Pandora that fans have never seen before. Suffice it to say, the fire is just getting started. https://geektyrant.com/news/james-cameron-shares-beautiful-new-concept-art-for-avatar-fire-and-ash https://comicbook.com/movies/news/avatar-fire-ash-concept-art-revealed-and-everyone-has-the-same-criticism/ https://sffgazette.com/sci_fi/movies/avatar-fire-ash-concept-art-released-as-james-cameron-confirms-movie-is-now-in-post-production-a8489 Images: Avatar Quote
