Unveiled by President-elect Donald Trump, the Department of Government Efficiency isn’t actually a formal government agency. Instead, it’s an advisory commission tasked with offering recommendations to the White House and the Office of Management and Budget. The initiative is co-chaired by Musk, the Tesla and SpaceX magnate, and Ramaswamy, a biotech entrepreneur and conservative activist. Together, they’ll aim to overhaul government processes with an ambitious goal of measurable impact by July 4, 2026, just in time for America’s 250th birthday. Adding a Musk-style twist, the entrepreneur shared on X (formerly Twitter) that DOGE might feature its own line of merchandise, though he didn’t elaborate on its offerings. Musk’s companies Tesla and SpaceX maintain established merchandise lines, while X recently launched its own store featuring minimalist apparel with the platform’s logo. https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1856504428913705061 Quote
