Members Garth Gator Posted November 18 Members Posted November 18 It looks like Tesla is taking its robots from the factory floor and shrinking them for your shelf. Elon Musk's automaker recently released the Tesla Bot Action Figure, a collectible version of its Optimus humanoid robot. Standing at a modest 7.16 inches tall, this 1:10-scale figure might be small, but it’s packed with details, featuring over 40 individual parts and 20 points of articulation. The action figure, modeled after Tesla's Gen 2 Optimus, comes with a charging stand and a CyberHammer accessory. Weighing in at just 1.7 ounces, it’s light enough to move around easily, but detailed enough to serve as a faithful representation of the real thing. Interest in the Tesla Bot Action Figure was intense right from the start. Upon release, the rush of buyers to Tesla’s online store was enough to crash the website temporarily. While the Optimus robot itself may still be in development, some Tesla fans can now bring a small piece of that ambition home as a part of a display or a desk ornament. Currently priced at $40, the action figure is sold through the company’s official online shop. Given the high demand and limited availability, some buyers are already waiting for restocks. https://driveteslacanada.ca/news/tesla-bot-action-figure-launches-crashes-website/ https://www.teslarati.com/tesla-sells-out-optimus-action-figure/ https://www.notebookcheck.net/Tesla-outs-Optimus-robot-action-figure-with-charging-stand-and-CyberHammer-as-well-as-new-Plaid-diecasts.919163.0.html Images: Tesla Shop Quote
