Members Garth Gator Posted November 22 Members Posted November 22 Logan Paul is no stranger to making waves. The YouTuber and influencer, known for his high-profile antics, has now grasped the internet’s attention once again after orchestrating a prank on a BBC journalist. The incident took place during the production of the BBC documentary Logan Paul: Bad Influence?, which explores allegations that Paul misled fans into investing in cryptocurrency ventures without disclosing his financial stake in them. The BBC’s Matt Shea had spent months trying to secure an interview with Paul to discuss these claims. When the YouTuber finally agreed to meet at his gym in Puerto Rico, it seemed like the journalist had finally gotten his shot. But instead of Logan Paul himself, Shea was met by someone who looked an awful lot like him. The impersonator, Rodney Peterson—better known on Instagram as @not_logan_paul_—sat down for the interview, with Paul feeding him lines through an earpiece. The exchange continued until Shea eventually realized there was something different about the interviewee's face and decided to call it off. The situation only escalated shortly after. A crowd, seemingly organized by Paul, began heckling the BBC crew, making derogatory comments about the network's alleged history of platforming controversial figures. https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/films/news/logan-paul-bbc-documentary-crypto-b2650592.html https://www.indy100.com/celebrities/logan-paul-lookalike-bbc-interview https://www.express.co.uk/sport/othersport/1978813/bbc-reporter-logan-paul-lookalike https://www.the-express.com/sport/wrestling/155414/Logan-Paul-reporter-bbc-interview https://variety.com/2024/tv/global/logan-paul-lookalike-bbc-crypto-accusations-1236215326/ Image: Hutchinsphoto | Dreamstime.com Quote
