Administrators Orange Posted November 25 Administrators Posted November 25 When it comes to iced lattes, Dunkin’ has really upped the size—and the ante. On November 20, 2024, Dunkin’ and celebrity chef Nick DiGiovanni went big, literally, by crafting the world’s largest iced latte, as verified by the Guinness World Records. The record-breaking beverage, measuring 1,104.92 liters (about 292 gallons), was unveiled at Dunkin’s headquarters in Canton, Massachusetts. For a sense of scale, that’s enough latte to fill nearly seven bathtubs. To create this giant brew, the latte was built with 25 gallons of espresso, 100 gallons of milk, and an impressive 275 gallons of ice. A dedicated team of 20 people worked around the clock for 24 hours to bring the massive iced latte to life. The final assembly, which involved combining all the elements, took just 15 minutes to complete. The event marked a celebration of National Espresso Day, with Dunkin’ partnering with Nick DiGiovanni, a social media personality known for his past culinary records. The 11-foot-tall latte was not just for show—it was served to over 300 Dunkin’ employees who attended the event. Nothing went to waste, as attendees were able to get a taste of the record-breaking drink. DiGiovanni, who has experience in tackling similar culinary challenges, led the preparation, which involved pouring thousands of shots of espresso and more than a thousand pounds of ice into the giant cup. On National Espresso Day, which fell on November 23, Dunkin’ treated its loyal customers with an extra perk—Dunkin’ Rewards members were offered four times the points on any espresso drink in honor of National Espresso Day, adding even more buzz to the celebration. https://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/news/2024/11/nick-digiovanni-teams-up-with-dunkin-to-create-iced-latte-big-enough-to-swim-in https://foodsided.com/dunkin-worlds-largest-iced-latte-national-espresso-day https://news.dunkindonuts.com/blog/national-espresso-day-2024 Images: Dunkin’ Quote
