Krispy Kreme launches new 'Merry Grinchmas' doughnuts for the holiday season

Krispy Kreme is bringing the whimsical charm of Whoville to life this holiday season with its 'Merry Grinchmas Doughnut Collection', inspired by Dr. Seuss's beloved tale, How the Grinch Stole Christmas!. Launching on Black Friday, November 29, 2024, this limited-time collection offers fans of the Grinch and doughnuts alike the chance to indulge in festive, character-themed treats available at participating locations.

 

The collection features three new character-inspired creations that capture the essence of the holiday classic. The signature Grinch Doughnut cleverly incorporates a "coal" Cookies & Kreme filling within an unglazed shell, topped with vibrant green icing and the character's iconic smirk in chocolate icing, complete with buttercream hair that perfectly captures his mischievous personality.

 

For those who appreciate the Grinch's eventual transformation, the Grinchy Claus Doughnut transforms the classic glazed doughnut with a chocolate icing dip, white buttercream, festive Christmas crispies, and an edible Grinch decoration. The innocent charm of Whoville's beloved Cindy-Lou Who comes to life in the Merry Berry Tree Doughnut, featuring strawberry-flavored icing, a decorative green buttercream tree, and a star topper that sparkles with holiday spirit.

 

Completing the holiday lineup are two seasonal favorites making their return: the whimsical Santa Belly Doughnut, crafted with white cream filling, red icing, and a decorative chocolate belt, alongside the Holiday Sprinkle Doughnut, which adds a festive sparkle to the Original Glazed with chocolate icing and seasonal sprinkles.

 

 

The 'Merry Grinchmas Doughnut Collection' will be available in six-packs and dozens at select grocery stores and Krispy Kreme locations, ensuring plenty to share with friends and family. To make the holidays even sweeter, Krispy Kreme's much-loved 'Day of the Dozens' returns on December 12, 2024. Customers can purchase any dozen doughnuts at the regular price and get a dozen Original Glazed for just $1.
