Mayo lovers can now skip the sandwich and go straight for the good stuff. Japanese convenience store chain Lawson has unveiled ‘Nomu Mayo’, a drinkable version of everyone's favorite creamy condiment that’s either genius or madness, depending on your taste buds.

Nomu Mayo, which literally translates to “Drinkable Mayonnaise,” is Lawson's way of giving mayonnaise enthusiasts something new to chew on—or, rather, sip on. The drink aims to replicate the rich, tangy taste that mayo lovers know and love, but in a chilled liquid form.

The product has been labeled a "mayonnaise-style drink" and "not an actual mayonnaise," however, setting it apart from the squeeze bottle of actual mayonnaise you might have in your fridge.

Launched on November 26, this egg-citingly chilled beverage is available in 200ml servings for 198 yen, which works out to about $1.31 USD.
