Nike Debuts ‘Swoosh 1’ Baby Sneakers To Help Toddlers Cultivate First Steps

Of all the major milestones in an infant’s life, few compare to one’s very first steps. And to support toddlers as they learn to walk, Nike recently released the Swoosh 1—kicks specially designed to serve early trekkers.

According to the sportswear giant, research shows an individual’s lifelong gait is developed as soon as five to six months after they begin walking.

As such, the brand decided to develop sneakers that would allow little athletes’ feet to grip and splay as “they’re naturally intended to.”
