Shrek’s Swamp Finally Welcomes Visitors As An Airbnb Rental

Shrek may have tried time and time again to get villagers and every fairytale creature from Far Far Away to get out of his swamp, but now, after leaving his home in Donkey’s care, the doors to his swamp are opening to fans of the movie to stay a night or two in his humble abode.

As part of Airbnb’s ongoing series dedicated to recreating iconic film-inspired homes, the platform has gone all out to recreate Shrek’s iconic swamp, joining the ranks of other memorable cinematic locales such as Bluey’s home, Barbie’s Dreamhouse, the theater in which Phantom of the Opera was based on, and The Fresh Prince of Bel Air’s mansion.

Nestled in the enchanting landscapes of the Scottish Highlands, this charming recreation of Shrek’s swamp provides guests with a cozy cottage-like retreat set amid the picturesque yet mud-covered swampland.
