Garth Gator Posted February 2 Share Posted February 2 For her final project in a Synthetic Biology class, an MIT biotech researcher took the whole "Doom runs on everything" meme to a whole new level by using E. coli bacteria to display the game. Yeah, you read that right. πΏπ€π€π’ π€π£ ππͺπ© ππππ©ππ§ππ.Β She didn't actually cram the entire game into the DNA of these microbes, but she did use them as a sort of living, low-res 32x48 grid screen.
