Community Posted October 31, 2023 Posted October 31, 2023 Microsoft is clamping down on unauthorized third-party Xbox controllers and accessories that fall outside the “designed for Xbox” hardware partner program starting from November 12.Those who are currently using any unlicensed controllers, headsets, or other peripherals will encounter an error code (0x82d60002) and get a two-week grace period to continue using the accessory before it is rendered incompatible with the console.The appeal of unofficial controllers often lies in their ability to provide customization and unique features.
