According to Downdetector, user reports started to spike around 10:33PM EDT, and comments included "Sims 4 won't load" and "can't play 2042". Many players have also taken to social media to indicate connectivity issues with the popular gaming platform. At the time of this post, EA's official status page is indicating normal status for all services. Its official support X account, however, has offered up some tips hours earlier, if your game is crashing. Electronic Arts (EA) is a major player in the gaming industry, boasting a diverse portfolio of popular games, from flagship franchises EA Sports FC (FIFA Series) and the Madden NFL Series to notable titles such as the Mass Effect Series, The Sims Series, Need for Speed Series, Battlefield Series, and Apex Legends.
