Hollywood Walk of Fame unveils star-studded class of 2025: Prince, Jane Fonda, Bill Nye, David Beckham and more honorees

The Hollywood Walk of Fame, an iconic symbol of achievement in the entertainment industry, is set to shine brighter with its Class of 2025. This year’s honorees, a diverse mix of talents, have been announced, adding more stars to the illustrious boulevard.

 

Among the luminaries to be honored are legendary figures such as Jane Fonda and the late Prince. Their contributions to the world of cinema and music, respectively, have left indelible marks. Joining them are contemporary movie stars Colin Farrell and Jessica Chastain, whose performances have captivated audiences worldwide.

 

The television category will see the likes of Fran Drescher, Lauren Graham, and Bill Nye, individuals who have brought joy, knowledge, and laughter into our living rooms. The creators of South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, will also be recognized in a double ceremony.

 

The recording category boasts a lineup of musical superstars, including Keith Urban, Green Day, Fantasia, Busta Rhymes, and George Strait. Their melodies and lyrics have resonated with fans across the globe. From the Live Theatre category is Alan Cumming and Misty Copeland.

 

The sports category will honor David Beckham, who before owning the Lionel Messi-headed Inter Miami CF, was a world-class soccer player himself.

 

This star-studded roster was announced by Walk of Famers Niecy Nash, Joe Mantegna, and music producer Jimmy Jam. Each honoree, according to Chairman Peter Roth, "truly embodies the essence of excellence in their respective fields".
