Disney & Marvel unleash 'Agatha All Along' teaser trailer, casting more intrigue around Wanda story

The official teaser trailer for Agatha All Along has emerged, casting a spell of anticipation and intrigue. The Marvel series, set to premiere on Disney+ this Halloween season, promises to bring more of the enigmatic character of Agatha Harkness, portrayed by the Emmy-nominated Kathryn Hahn, to light.

In Agatha All Along, the infamous Agatha Harkness finds herself down and out of power after a suspicious goth Teen helps break her free from a distorted spell. Her interest is piqued when he begs her to take him on the legendary Witches’ Road, a magical gauntlet of trials that, if survived, rewards a witch with what they’re missing. Together, Agatha and this mysterious Teen pull together a desperate coven, and set off down, down, down The Road…

 

 

The ominous yet comedic trailer reveals Agatha living a seemingly ordinary life as a detective as her inner witch is trapped inside her body. It also introduces a surprising new coven. 

 

 

Showrunner Jac Schaeffer, acclaimed for her work on WandaVision, directs the pilot episode. An impressive ensemble cast, including Patti LuPone and Aubrey Plaza, add further allure to the bewitching narrative.

 

 

Agatha All Along is scheduled to premiere on September 18, 2024, on Disney+. The series will consist of nine episodes, with the first two dropping on launch day.
