With a new, refined finish, the classic silhouette is finally dressed up for your next cocktail event. Inspired by the “Freizeit” concept, which translates to “leisure time” in German, the Freizeit embodies a relaxed yet refined aesthetic. The shoe features a premium, full-grain leather upper that boasts a buttery-soft texture—a more polished upgrade from the standard Stan Smith’s smooth leather. Departing further from the original, the Freizeit sits atop a thicker, oxford-style rubber sole. This elevated platform adds a touch of formality while also providing some welcome cushioning. Although the Freizeit maintains the Stan Smith’s signature details like the perforated three stripes and the clean tongue label, the overall impression is one of understated luxury. The shoe is available in rich brown and crisp white colorways for a versatile day-to-night look. For now, the Stan Smith Freizeit seems to only be available outside the US.
