The Teams and Their Jerseys The teams that are part of this inaugural 'Archive Collection' include LA Galaxy, LAFC, Inter Miami CF, Portland Timbers, and Sporting Kansas City. Each jersey is a tribute to the team’s heritage and the city it calls home. Inter Miami CF: This kit, as style by soccer star Lionel Messi, channels the vibrant energy of 1980s Miami. The city's name takes center stage in an Art Deco font, reminiscent of the era's popular culture. Teal stripes and orange accents nod to the iconic jerseys of the Miami Dolphins, further embedding the team within the city's sporting landscape. LA Galaxy: A trip down memory lane for fans, this jersey replicates the original design worn in the team's inaugural 1996 MLS season. The front features a bold split of teal and black, cleverly transitioning with a stylish star pattern. LAFC: Taking inspiration from the iconic Southern California vibes of the 1970s, this LAFC kit arrives in timeless shades of brown, capturing the essence of that era. Portland Timbers: A tribute to club legend Clive Charles, this burgundy jersey features a swirling mustard yellow print, a design element that celebrates his legacy. Sporting Kansas City: This jersey throws it back to the team's 'Kansas City Wizards' days, featuring a modern reimagining of their original badge, honoring the club's history with a fresh perspective. The Archive Collection The Archive Collection extends beyond just the jerseys. It also includes a matching jackets and a pair of Gazelle shoes, allowing fans to fully embrace the retro look for the rest of the season. As the 'Archive Collection' launches, MLS and Adidas are considering expanding the number of clubs with a third jersey in 2025 and beyond.
